In 1963, Fernand graduated with a bachelor Business Administration from École des Hautes Études. He obtained his Chartered Accountant designation and Bachelor of Accounting Sciences in 1966. He has been a full- and/or part-time teacher for 14 years at École des Hautes Études Commerciales.
In January 1971, he opened his own public sector auditing company. From 1974 to 1976, he served as head of taxation at Maheu, Noël, Chartered Accountants. In 1976, he returned to his own public accounting practice, a position he held until 2007.
Along with his practice, he will work on corporate reorganization mandates and will serve as President of a business with more than 170 employees. He will tackle collective agreement, pension fund and other common business management issues.
In 2007, he joined Lehoux Boivin, CA. He is interested in issues related to corporate reorganizations and financial, tax and estate planning.
