In 1972, he graduated with a BAA from HEC Montréal. In 1974, he received the CA designation from the Ordre des CA du Québec (OCAQ). In 1983, the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy made Mr. Iannitello a licensed bankruptcy trustee. In 2000, the OCAQ recognized Mr. Iannitello as an expert in "Investigation and Forensic Accounting" (CA • IFA) or "Investigative and Forensic Accountant" (CA.FA).
Mr. Iannitello is a founder of Lehoux Boivin Iannitello, CA, GP and President of Iannitello & Associés Inc. His career began in 1972 at PwC (formerly Coopers & Lybrand). Subsequently, he became a partner in 1983 until his departure in 1999.
In 1983, the PwC partners asked him to set up a restructuring department. In 1995, he received the mandate to develop the Forensic Accounting department, which he headed until his departure in early 1999.
During his career, Mr. Iannitello has worked on many forensic mandates, including fraud investigations. He has signed many expert reports in the case of shareholder disputes, damage quantifications and counter valuations. The courts regularly recognize him as an expert witness.
Many financial institutions and companies retain his services for the development of recovery, financial restructuring and rationalization plans. Financial institutions recognize Mr. Iannitello as a reliable and competent external resource, an important asset for a financially troubled company.
